Nordplus programme: Adult
Sign up for the writing seminar and get guidance in writing your application to the Nordplus Adult programme for the next deadline 1 March 2012 - and do remember to bring your portable computer!
The Danish Agency for International Education, Main Administrator for the Nordplus Adult Programme, organise in collaboration with the Nordplus office in Lithuania, Education Exchanges Support Foundation, again this year the writing seminar for applicants to the Nordplus Adult Learning Programme and its upcoming deadline March 1, 2012.
The Writing Seminar is truly an international event as it is open for participants from all Nordic and Baltic countries and autonomous regions and now has moved its location to Vilnius, Lithuania.
Seminar purpose and content
On the seminar you will get information and guidance on e.g. how to present your project and fill in the online application form, what to consider on the organisation of the project activities and partner collaboration and what to consider on the programme framework.
Furthermore participants will have the opportunity to network and exchange experience with each other. The working language will be English.
Please note, that the seminar does not have any pre-selective function, but is solely an offer to help with writing a good application.
Criteria for participation
The seminar addresses all actors within the field of adult learning from all Nordic and Baltic countries and autonomous regions. To gain access to the seminar, the following criteria must be met:
- you have decided to send in an application to the Nordplus Adult programme to the next deadline 1 March 2012
- the project idea is largely developed and ready to be put on paper
- your partnership is largely in place - your partner(s) have agreed to participate in the project.
Each participant must bring their own portable computer (notebook) with wire-less internet access.
Time and place
The Writing Seminar takes place on Friday 20 January 2012 in Vilnius, from 10h to 16h (arrival and registration from 9.30)
There will be a maximum of 30 spaces. Participation is free of charge, and there will be lunch and refreshments during the day as part of the seminar.
Information on the address and programme for the seminar will be given to participants, when they are selected.
Mobility grant for participation?
Some National Nordplus Offices has been able to provide funding for participants in the Writing Seminar from their country. Contact your National Nordplus office for more information.
How to register?
Register online here (link to IU) or fill in the Nordplus Adult Writing Seminar application form (word) and send it in an e-mail to Henrik Neiiendam Andersen, The Danish Agency for International education, hna@iu.dk. Deadline for submitting the application has been extended to Friday 6 January 2012, however, applicants are encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible.
If you have applied by 19 December, you will be notified on Thursday 5 January 2012 at the latest. If you apply later, you will be notified by 10 January.
