Schools and pre-schools, folk high schools and other institutions and organisations within the field of adult learning, and institutions within the field of Nordic languages, are invited to apply to Nordplus for the application round autumn 2012. This is a limited application round for Nordplus Junior, Nordplus Adult and Nordplus Nordic Language.
Nordplus Junior or Nordplus Adult:
This application round is for support to Preparatory visits. The minimum requirement is two institutions involved (coordinator and partner) from two different Nordplus countries. The support is for travel and boarding expenses (see tariffs in the Nordplus Handbook). The purpose of a preparatory visit is to prepare and clarify roles and aspects of the cooperation for the purpose of new applications to Nordplus (the annual call for proposals to Nordplus is 1 February). A preparatory visit may last up to five days including travel time. Visits must take place between the message of the issued grant is given and the end of the school year 2012-2013. Grant is given according to fixed rates and no extra budget is required.
Nordplus Nordic Language:
This is a new ordinary application round for Nordplus Nordic Language, and is open only for applications for project support. The minimum requirement is three participating institutions from three different Nordplus countries. As of 2012 there is no longer the possibility to apply for mobility support through Nordic Language (schools can appliy for mobility support for through Nordplus Junior in the regular application round with application deadline 1 February). The total budget of this application roundis EUR 128 000.
NB: Applications to Nordic Language MUST be submitted in a Scandinavian language, please select the Norwegian application form in ARS. Be aware of other changes to the programme and read the Handbook carefully. A separate budget must be submitted together with the application and 50% degree of self-financing is required (can be time spent on project work).
All applications to Nordplus must be submitted electronically through ARS.
