The Nordplus Adult Learning Programme is aimed at all actors within the area of adult learning.

The Nordplus Adult Learning Programme is aimed at all actors and all sectors within the area of adult learning.

The target groups for the Nordplus Adult Learning Programme are:

  • Organisations, institutions and schools working with adult learning, informal, non formal as well as formal learning, informal and non-formal learning institutions, through learning at work, or in social life;
  • Organisations, institutions and schools in general education and vocational training, popular education, special needs education as well as social partners and NGOs;
  • Teachers, other staff members and decision makers working with adult learning;
  • Adult learners in organised learning programmes.

Only participants from the participating countries (Denmark - including Greenland and Faeroe Islands -, Estonia, Finland - including Åland -, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden) are eligible for financial support from Nordplus. Participants from other countries may take part in programme activities, but are not eligible for financial support from the programme.
In order to be eligible for Nordplus funding the activities must take place in one or more of the eight participating countries.

Individuals may not apply for grants directly from the Nordplus administration, but they may take part in activities organised by an organisation or institution.
