Students from four Nordic countries study Nordic landscape from different points of view and have found that there is much more to explore than just the landscape.

The basic idea is to work together and share the results. Students from schools in Denmark, Sweden and Finland, including Åland, have been divided into six different theme groups. The themes relate to history, art, geography, biology, mother tongue and social science.

During the four-year period the project participants visit each member school and work together for a week. At the end of the week a presentation of the work is given to the other groups and to the students from the host school.

Similarities and differences
Similarities of education systems, language similarities and short distance between the Nordic countries make it easy to plan and carry them out the projects. As a result, the students are left not only with the picture of Nordic landscapes, but also of cultural similarities and differences.
