The Nordplus Adult Learning Programme is the Nordic Council of Ministers programme for adult learning. It has been adopted for a 5 year period from 2012 to 2016 with an annual budget of appr. 8 mio DKK.
The programme supports networking, collaboration and exchanges between actors from the Nordic and Baltic countries, whether in formal, non-formal or informal adult learning. The overall objectives of the Nordplus adult programme are:

From the Nordplus Adult Learning programme actors from the Nordic/Baltic countries can apply for grants within the following categories:
Mobility projects
Mobility projects require cooperation between at least two organisations/institutions from at least two countries.
Collaboration projects
Collaboration projects require cooperation between at least three organisations from at least three countries.
The programme has a general focus on projects aiming at vulnerable adults, as for new applicants and partnerships, applications covering new issues, problems, methods and solution models and cross-sectoral initiatives involving different types of organisations within the sector of adult learning.
The countries participating in the Nordplus Adult Learning programme are the Nordic countries Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, the autonomous regions the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Aaland and the Baltic countries Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
