November 11 is the date for Nordic Climate Day 2010, targeting school pupils in all the five Nordic countries. Climate issues have also been decided as an overarching priority for the Nordplus Framework Programme this year.
A climate campaign starting late summer will conclude in a virtual educational event on Nordic Climate Day November 11. Nordplus is a partner in this campaign. During the climate meeting COP 15 last fall, a series of events took place chaired by the Nordic Council of Minsters and aimed at all schools in the Nordic countries.
The website klimanorden.org is established to inspire and share knowledge, through this website it is also possible to subscribe to at newsletter with updates on the campaign towards Nordic Climate Day 2010.
The Nordic Council of Ministers’ programme Nordplus 2012-2016 makes funds available for cooperation within education in the Nordic and Baltic areas. Application deadline is 1 March 2013.
