Dear applicants for the Nordplus Framework
As you are all aware, a new Nordplus Framework 2008 – 2011, in which we have great expectations, has been launched. We are therefore very happy about the great interest that both old as well as new applicants have shown the new programme.
Within the Nordplus Framework a new application and reporting system (ARS) has been implemented. ARS is meant to serve five different programmes in the 5 Nordic countries and the three Baltic States as well as the three autonomous territories Aaland, the Faeroe Islands and Greenland.
Unfortunately many of you have experienced problems with ARS. We have received a lot of feedback concerning this and we are taking it very seriously. Several of the problems reported, have been solved while others are in the solving process.
Both the Nordic Council of Ministers as well as the Administrators in the various countries and the company that have developed the system, have had and still has been on high alert to clean up and secure the possibility for everyone to apply in the best possible way. The interest of the applicants and a good delivery of the applications will have first priority when we consider the solutions to the problems.
We sincerely apologize for the problems that you have experienced – and will get back to you as soon as possible with information as to the future interests to be attended to and the position of the applicants.
Kind regards
Nordic Council of Ministers
