The result of the spring deadline for applications to the Nordplus Adult programme is published – 52 new cross-national projects are now starting up.
As previous years the interest for the NordplusAdult programme has been strong. In total, 78 applications were submitted, applying for a total amount of 3.7 million Euro. 1.1 million Euro was the available amount, and 52 of the submitted applications have now been approved. See list of approved applications for 2011.
The projects cover all parts of the adult education field - from formal and informal learning, to liberal education and vocational training.
18 applications for teachers and adult students exchange have been approved, as have 18 development projects and 5 mapping projects. Furthermore, grants have been given to 5 thematic networks and 6 preparatory visits.
The next ordinary deadline for Nordplus Adult applications is March 1, 2012. October 2011 still holds the deadline for preparatory visits.
Nordic institutions of higher education may apply for funding to develop joint Master's programmes. Each project may be awarded up to 1 000 000 DKK. The deadline for applications is 14. September 2012
The Nordic Council of Ministers has extended the Nordplus programme for the period of 2012-2016. The call for proposals is now available, and the application deadline is the 1st of March 2012.
