Competence development for unskilled workers |

We are interested in coopereting with other trade unions for unskilled workers or with adult education centres that provide educational opportunities/courses for this specific target group. We are particularily interested in cooperating on a mapping project. The aim of this project is to investigate the present status of our union members, get an overview of their educational background, find out what would motivate them to engage in learning activities, what type of competence development they are interested in, their future aspirations, etc. Once such a mapping project has been undertaken, we expect to get better insight in how to assist our members in getting educated.
If two other countries join in, we could make a comparative study of three different regions and gather ideas on how to go about our members' competence development. |
