Green Days in Baltics and Nordic countries

Purpose.

Nowadays people all around the world face environmental problems and at the same time very often forget about the things they can do to improve the world around them.
The purpose of the camp „Green days in Baltics” is to give information about the environment in Baltics , to compare it with other countries. The students will explore Liepaja beach of the Baltic sea, the plants and also history of Liepaja Military port Karosta. The green days will give additional information, practical experience. The participants will get information about Liepaja , about the environment there.
Through dialogues, practical workshops and intercultural exchange students will create a sense of belonging to a common Europe with common problems. They also will come to solutions about the actions they can do to change their and other people`s attitude to the problem.

Project Plan

The students will have only healthy food these days, they will have healthy lifestyle without smoking. The day will start every day with energizers, afterwards they will have workshops, then dinner, workshops. Each evening healthy entertainment( sporting activities, plays, dances,intelectual games). On the sixth day they will do evaluation of the work they have done and also discuss further plans and actions they could .

The camp „Green Days in Baltics” will long 6 days. There will be 6 wokhops:

1.Green plants` workshop.

2.Baltic beach explorers.

3.Recycling workshop.

4.Exploring Karosta.

5.Healthy food and lifestyle workshop.

6.Posters` making workshop.

The students will work in groups and they will change the workshop every day, so they will have worked in all of them. The last two days they will make posters which they will distribute in local and also partner`s schools and other places.
