Promoting Nordic culture and language through music

Dream Academy Norden is a project that integrates music creation with Nordic languages’ aspect. The project aims to develop teaching methods across different subject areas and to build a cooperative culture in comprehensive teaching.

The pupils from the four participating schools from Finland, Sweden and Åland Islands engage in this exciting Nordic project for two semesters and form four groups that participate in Nordic music workshops, where they create, mix and produce their own songs in a Nordic language. The project utilizes Social Media and modern IT tools for teaching, learning, documentation and dissemination of results.
